I am a Life Member of National Ambucs, a service organization dedicated to creating greater independence for persons with disabilities.
We do this by giving away a specially designed therapeutic cycle, called the AmTryke (TM) and providing thousands of dollars annualy
as scholarships to students of physical therapy and related disciplines.
Our local Kenowa Chapter maintains a collection of home medical equipment, such as walkers, wheel chairs, and other devices, which
are loaned out to local persons in need. We build wheel chair ramps to enhance accessibility to homes and public places.
We sponsor a handicapped golf day for youngsters, and finance and purchase equipment for all-accessible handicapable play grounds.

Michigan MINI is a friendly, fun group of MINI Cooper automobile owners who like to drive and raise money for the Make-A-Wish
Foundation.
The SONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION (SAR) is a historical, educational, and patriotic non-profit, United States 501(c)3, corporation
that seeks to maintain and extend ...
* the institutions of American freedom
* an appreciation for true
patriotism
* a respect for our national symbols
* the value of American citizenship
* the unifying
force of e pluribus unum that has created, from the people of many nations, one nation and one people.
We do this by perpetuating
the stories of patriotism, courage, sacrifice, tragedy, and triumph of the men who achieved the independence of the American people
in the belief that these stories are universal ones of man's eternal struggle against tyranny, relevant to all time, and will inspire
and strengthen each succeeding generation as it too is called upon to defend our freedoms on the battlefield and in our public institutions.
